I designed and built a stand for our JBL SRX828SP subwoofer. This was made out of scrap wood left over in our shop. On the ground the subwoofer would bounce off of the metal pipes used by our cyc and the lights on the cyc, so by lifting the subwoofer a few feet, we combatted this issue.
I designed, built and painted an audio desk and rack for my music setup. I measured the equipment I owned and built the desk and rack to fit.
I designed and built window blinds with a rope system for Beauty and the Beast Jr. so Belle could open and close her window without having to reach out and grab the blinds.
I designed and built a sign pulley for The Day the Internet Died play. Throughout the show, different scenes needed different signs/locations. I built this stand along with 5 signs for the different locations with an pulley to make them easily changeable during transitions.
What started off as a pulley for a flower basket, turned into a prop lifting rig to bring props up to storage after a show. When there was a need to bring multiple lights up to the catwalk, I redid the system to have a winch along with pulleys to support the weight.
I designed and built a bed for the grandparents in Willy Wonka Jr.. This bed needed to fit 4 middle schoolers and be wheeled on and off stage multiple times during the performance.
I built this wonka candy machine for Willy Wonka Jr.. To make the machine more believable I built a monitor into the prop and a computer was put inside. This was controlled from backstage and was able to display different information during the show to make it more believable.
